The Thermoguard Fire Varnish Basecoat offers intumescent fire protection for both internal and external surfaces of timber and timber-derived substrates. It meets the requirements of BS Class 1 and Class 0 Surface Spread of Flame standards, as well as BS EN Class B s2 d0.

The basecoat’s special formula provides tough and durable finishes for internal and external wood surfaces. It enhances the natural beauty of the wood while simultaneously offering fire protection to new/bare surfaces and previously varnished substrates.
