Thermoguard Fire Varnish System

Components
- Thermoguard Fire Varnish Basecoat:
- A two-component, water-based product consisting of a base and activator.
- Applied as the initial layer to provide the primary fire protection.
- Thermoguard Fire Varnish Overcoat (Interior):
- Available in matt, satin, and gloss finishes.
- Offers additional fire resistance and enhances the wood’s appearance.
- Available in various colors to match different interior décor styles and preferences.
Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
- Condition: Ensure timber surfaces are clean, dry (maximum 18% moisture content), and sealed appropriately.
- Abrasion (if needed): For varnished, sealed, or non-porous wood, thorough abrasion with medium-grade silicone carbide abrasive enhances adhesion.
Application Process
- Interior Use:
- Apply 1 coat of Thermoguard Fire Varnish Basecoat.
- After 1 to 4 days (once the basecoat is dry), apply:
- 1 coat of Thermoguard Fire Varnish Overcoat (Interior) Matt or Satin Clear, or
- 2 coats of Thermoguard Fire Varnish Overcoat (Interior) Matt or Satin Woodstain Colour.
- Exterior, Damp, High Wear Areas, or Fruitwoods:
- Apply 1 coat of Thermoguard Fire Varnish Basecoat.
- After 1 to 4 days, apply 2 coats of Thermoguard Fire Varnish Overcoat (Exterior) Matt or Satin Clear or Woodstain Colour.

- Available Colors: Light Oak, Teak, Pine, Ebony, Dark Oak, Walnut, Rosewood, Mahogany, Grey.
- Enhancement: Each color option preserves the natural beauty of wood while providing fire protection.

- UV and Wear Protection: Both interior and exterior variants of Thermoguard Fire Varnish Overcoat provide protection against UV damage and wear.
